Agreement reached between Lakeshore Foundation and Zing Performance
June 25, 2024 – Birmingham, Alabama and Jacksonville, Florida – Kirchner Group today announced that its client, The Lakeshore Foundation, has entered into a Collaborative Health & Wellness Services Agreement with Zing Performance. The collaboration aims to leverage the innovative cognitive enhancement techniques developed by Zing Performance to benefit Paralympic and other athletes as well as Lakeshore’s general membership, including veterans, seniors, and the general community.
Kirchner Group was engaged by the Lakeshore Foundation to leverage its current assets and to simultaneously generate new resources, grow its societal impact, and expand the breadth and depth of its partnerships with a focus on its new Sports Science & Performance Center. Kirchner was chosen by Lakeshore given its extensive international network, decades of expertise in intellectual property-based transactions and track record of enterprise development with a vast array of clients.
Founded in 1984 the Lakeshore Foundation’s mission is to provide opportunities for individuals with a disability to live a healthy lifestyle through physical activity, research, advocacy and health promotion. Lakeshore’s Sports Science & Performance Center (SPCC) is a leader in adapted and disability sports with the expertise to provide comprehensive sports performance services to individuals and teams and advance sports science research. Lakeshore serves as the home for United States Paralympic Wheelchair Rugy team. Lakeshore SSPC provides disabled athletes an unrivaled training experience, combining science-driven sports performance services with expert knowledge, online resources, and cutting-edge facilities, so athletes at any stage of their journey can achieve peak performance. The Zing Performance agreement marks an important milestone for Lakeshore’s growth and impact strategy.
Zing Performance is a ground-breaking program designed to enhance the performance of individuals and organizations. Zing improves cognitive, emotional, and social performance by engaging the brain and body connection which in turn impacts all manner of learning, concentration, and information retention – individuals acquire knowledge faster and master new tasks with greater ease. The collaboration will focus on enhancing athletic, physical, and cognitive performance for a broad spectrum of Lakeshore Foundation members. Zing’s services will include the implementation and support of specialized neuroplasticity programs, tailored to meet the diverse needs of Lakeshore Foundation’s community. Zing has a suite of products that are tailored for all ages with focus areas on athletics (CereFit), cognitive improvement in kids & seniors (CereSkills), a program focused on stress, anxiety, PTSD & trauma (CereMind), as well as Hallowell Brain Health for ADHD. The parties will also collaborate on outcome studies to assess the impact of Zing’s program.
