Michael Fisher brings over 35 years of experience to firm
Birmingham, Alabama and New York, NY –27 March 2019 – Kirchner Group, a leading boutique firm focused on advisory, operational, and M&A support for mid-market companies as well as asset management services, today announced that Michael Fisher has joined the firm. Mike’s broad experience in private equity, alternative investing, operations and financial services is extremely relevant to the Kirchner Group’s client base and service offerings.
Mike will be focused on Kirchner Group’s advisory, operational and asset management services. He will also lead the firm’s initiatives around new ventures and activities that will leverage his unprecedented skillset. Mike has a track record for delivering successful outcomes in times of economic contraction as well as periods of growth.
Most recently Mike was leading White Rapids Capital, a private equity firm providing non-control and growth capital. Previously Mike spent 26 years with GE Capital in senior roles in Private Equity, Asset Management, Leveraged Finance, Turnarounds and Operations. He was the COO and an Investment Committee member for GE Capital’s $6B equity unit driving new investments, strategy, product development and portfolio management. He led GE’s healthcare venture incubator, the “Healthymagination Fund” and was also a key member of GE Capital’s Financial Institutions M&A team. During his tenure Kirchner Group became one of the preferred suppliers to GE Capital, Equity.
